Henry was my great uncle the youngest son of Ernest and Ellen H. Toovey nee (Le Seelleur) from St. Heliers Channel Island UK.
He was the youngest of 4 boys. Ernest Villiers (1893-1980) Kennedy St. Clair (1895-1918) Hamilton my grandfather (1897-1978) and Henry born in April 30th 1900.
He attended the Victoria College in St. Heliers and after that he enrolled at the Royal Army Medical Corps and went to the First War Word (1915-1919, about 1918 he came back and stayed in England and in 1920 he decided to move to Canada. He arrives to Montreal, Quebec June 27th 1920, MV Minnedosa.
After that my great grandmother Ellen received a few letters from him and then never again. He was about 19 or 20 years old.
At the Passanger's Declaration he declared:
He has tuberculosis but was cured.
